Resolutions? What Resolutions?

As I was working Tuesday night, the thought struck me.

I do an awful lot of thinking and writing and complaining about faith and the Church, but when it comes to the doing part… not so much.

The ever-wise brahnamin quoted Gandhi in a comment in the whine about Zion post, but wasn’t it also Gandhi who said that we must be the change we wish to see in the world?

I think it was.

  1. careful. that sounds frighteningly close to a call for action…and action is NOT what the blogosphere is all about.

quick, tell a world full of complete strangers five things they don’t know about you and all will be forgiven!

    😉

ps-in all seriuosness, whether it was ghandi or some bum on the corner, the sentiment is very apt. we can never change anyone else. most days we couldn’t even hope to inspire such change.

but we can always change ourselves. we can always set the bar and be the example.

and then we will inspire people to follow suit.

  2. This is really bugging me. It’s Gandhi not Ghandi.

    I feel better now…

  3. *grin*

    i sit corrected

wow, i hope i’m not spelling branamhin wrong
